Bright Shield Services and Investment Co. Ltd. was established in January 2019 as a privately owned company in Sudan specialized in logistics (river and inland transport), trading and other investment services.
The company has logistics agreements with oil and gas companies in the Republic of South Sudan to handle inland/river transportation from Port Sudan to South Sudan (Bentiu Oil Field).
UN-WFP is one of the company’s clients. The company is recognized as one of the WFP Barges’ Operators – River Transporter – (Sudan and South Sudan).
